2.01 - The Morning After, Part 1

Spencer: Ashley?
Ashley: I'm right here. Are you alright with everything that happened last night with us? [Spencer dips her head into the bed] What? Spencer, What's wrong? You're so beautiful.
Spencer: Stop. I'm okay. It's just- it's a big deal and I want it to be for you, too.
Ashley: It is.
Spencer: When I woke up this morning and you weren't here next to me, for a second, I thought it was a dream.
Ashley: I know, I didn't even want to get our of bed. I just wanted to shut out the world a little bit longer.
Spencer: Then come back.
Ashley: I would love to- [Ashley takes Spencer's hand and kisses it] But you might want to see who's been looking for you.

Spencer: Last night, was I okay?
Ashley: Yeah, you were.
Spencer: Thanks, I'll get better I promise.
Ashley: Shut up. It's not like I've had that much experience. Okay, that's a lie. But, it's different with everybody and it's great with you.
Spencer: Okay. Really?
Ashley: I'm having dinner with my dad tomorrow night at his penthouse on the strip. I want you to come. It will be a rare occasion. You'll actually get to see father and daughter in the same room.
Spencer: Are you sure you don't want him all to yourself?
Ashley: Totally. I want him to spend some time with you. You know, you're the first person I've ever wanted him to meet.
Spencer: Wow, thanks. I promise I won't embarrass you.
Ashley: Don't worry. That'll be Dad's job.

Raife: So I'm playing in front of two-thousand people, rocking out, about to go into my guitar solo.
Ashley: No, wait, Dad, you're not going to tell her–
Spencer: Shh. Yes, he is. Go on.
Raife: All of a sudden I hear the audience starting to laugh. I'm like, they never laugh at my guitar solo, what's going on? I look over and I see a five year old Ashley dancing on the stage completely naked.
Spencer: No way.
Ashley: Modesty was never my thing.
Raife: So, I stop the song. I pick her up and holding her to the crowd, she gets her first standing ovation. Go figure. So, you must be pretty special for Ashley to invite you to my second favorite day of the year.
Ashley: She is. She really is.

[Ashley comes out of the closet wearing a bra, panties and her dad's vest]
Ashley: What do you think?
Spencer: Hot.
Ashley: Yes,I am. This is from my dad's first world tour. He loves this.
Spencer: And he loves you. It was such a good night with him, huh?
Ashley: Yeah and it was even better because you were there.

*Spencer reaches to touch Ashley's back but Ashley takes Spencer's hand away*
Ashley: I need my space, okay?
Spencer: No, it's not alright. I'm not gonna let you push me away. Not now. Not when you're hurting like this.
Ashley: Like what, Spencer? Do you have any idea how I feel? No, you don't. You can't . So, just stop it.
Spencer: Stop what, caring about you?
Ashley: If you really cared, you would just leave.

Ashley: I'm sorry.
Spencer: You don't have to be. You're just going through the worst time right now.
Ashley: No, I'm sorry for not letting you in. Letting you help. I'm so bad at this. But, I need you so bad right now. [Spencer and Ashley hug while Ashley cries on Spencer's shoulder]
Spencer: It's okay. It's okay. Shh.
