1.02 - Secret Truths, Part 2 Spencer: You have to come. Ashley: No way. Remember. I have to keep my record intact. Spencer: Oh, come on. It'll be fun. No dates, nothing. Ashley: I don't know. I- I'm not quite sure I'm going to fit in with the little cheer-bitches. Spencer: You? You'd fit in anywhere. Ashley: Yeah, that's true. Spencer: And, hey. I'm one of those "cheer-bitches". Ashley: Right. Sorry, I forgot. Spencer: So get off your lazy butt and I'll meet you outside at the side door. If it's lame, we'll leave. [Spencer's waiting outside when Ashley arrives] Ashley: Hey! Did you get kicked out already? Spencer: No, I'm waiting for my friend. Ashley: Oh. Spencer: You nervous? Ashley: Yeah, a little. [Spencer gives Ashley her hand and they walk into the dance] Madison: Spencer, you're blowing up, girl. If we would've known you were gay, we would've never considered you for the squad. Spencer: What? Madison: Having a lesbian in the locker room always checking us out gets uncomfortable for us "normal" girls. Ashley: Normal?! Get over it. This has nothing to do with Spencer. You're just jealous of Aiden and I. Madison: Jealous? Of what? A stupid slut that got knocked up? Ashley: He told you? Madison: At least you were smart enough to get rid of it. Aiden: We didn't- we didn't "get rid of it". Alright, we lost it. Ashley: Yeah, a miscarriage. Spencer: Oh my god. Madison: Go to hell Aiden. And you're off the squad, so you can go play with your "life partner". Spencer: What just happened?! Ashley: What always happens when you're around stupid people. Spencer: When did you... ? Ashley: About a year ago, okay? I was going to keep it. Someone who I could love. And someone who would love me for just me. Then I lost it, along with everything else good in my life. Spencer: Sorry. Ashley: Look, can we just get out of here? Spencer: I'm confused. I don't understand. What are you? Gay, straight, all of the above? Ashley: I'm not into labels.
